Supported by an innovative curriculum and Subject Expert Teachers who are passionate about what they do, we help our students achieve more and go further. At BASIS Scottsdale Primary West, your child will be engaged, challenged, and given opportunities to explore.
It starts in kindergarten, with dynamic, hands-on lessons that lay a strong academic foundation. From grades K–3, we follow a co-teaching model with two teachers in each classroom. This model maximizes comprehension and engagement as students progress through our accelerated curriculum.

From day one, working at BSPW has been my dream job! I fell in love with the two-teacher model and have seen first hand how beneficial this is in offering differentiation and support to students in the classroom. The school culture is out of this world! Parents are so supportive and work hand-in-hand with the teachers and administration to ensure their child's success. The teachers give 100% to each and every child and have created a true love of learning in the classroom. The administration also works hard to support every aspect of the school and will jump in to help whenever help is needed. I am so thankful to be a part of the BSPW family!

This school is fantastic. There is allot of parent involvement, lost of activities and clubs to chose from, and the set up was done well. My daughter is in kindergarten and has only been there for a few months, and has already began to read and has learned an extensive amount for the small period of time there. We are pleasantly surprised and would recommend to any parent looking to give their child the best educational opportunity. I only wish that I could help donate and support the school more, but what I can do is give them the good review that they deserve and help spread the word for other families and the staff that make it all happen.

Basis Scottsdale Primary West has been a great fit for our family. Their academics are rigorous without being excessive or developmentally inappropriate. BSPW has provided a very strong foundation for reading and math. My children also grow from having exposure to special classes like engineering, art, drama, music, PE, martial arts, and Mandarin. In addition to the actual academic content, they are learning valuable study skills. Students in 4th grade especially have some really cool projects that require planning and execution on a larger scale than in previous years. I feel confident that students graduating from this campus will be ready for the larger Basis Scottsdale campus.
I am also very pleased with the administration and communication from the school. They are friendly, approachable, and always very professional. My only complaint about this school is that it only goes through 4th grade.
